Add a "Missed" button to WO Type: MPRO > Task Type: PM
There needs to be an additional button labeled as "Missed" in the Work Order or Task Pane for "PM" Task Types only. This button should function similar to the Red X for "Cancel Work Order" or "Cancel Task", except when you select this option, it should trigger a window to pop up requesting a reason for variance. i.e. Equipment Unavailable, Personnel Needed etc. and it should also require the user to type a comment/note.
Example for why this option needs to be available:
Asset XYZ-123 has a PM generated on a monthly interval.
The monthly PM was completed in Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jul & Aug. The June PM was not completed and the task status is still showing "New". The PM Task needs to be marked as "Missed" instead of "Canceled", in order maintain accurate PM Completion historical data for Asset XYZ-123.
This option will improve the process for cleaning up the PM backlog.
The current process for cleaning up the backlog is by canceling the PM via eFP or IFS procedure. This process removes old open past due/out of compliance PMs from the backlog but there is no way to distinguish them as a PM Task that was missed OR canceled for a credible reason. Not all PMs that are canceled were missed.
Example scenario: Asset XYZ-123 has a monthly and quarterly PM. A decision is made to stop doing the monthly PM and continue the quarterly PM with a few additional steps. The proper procedure is not followed to stop the monthly PM from regenerating or the monthly gets regenerated for an unknown reason. The additional monthly PM's that were regenerated need to be canceled. There needs to be a function to differentiate between a PM that was Missed vs Canceled in order to keep an accurate history of PM Completion. A "Canceled" PM Task Status does not always mean that the it was missed. At the moment, there is no way to tell the difference
