We need the ability to change the equipment number on equipment with an active malfunction.
The customers consistently submit work orders using the incorrect asset id and if they submit it in a down status you can not change the asset id without clearing the malfunction. If you clear the malfunction to change the id and then input the malfunction again it will track as scheduled downtime which skews your metrics. This forces us to cancel the work order and create it again as a new work order backdating the malfunction start time to the original work order time so our metrics are correct.
Either let us modify the asset IDs even in a down…
3 votesThis ability is already present in the EFP. Create a new malfunction as an unscheduled by changing the downtime on the task to the date earlier than task created date. Along with that we are also providing the users to delete the malfunctions, change the asset and create a malfunction if required and users can change it to unscheduled by changing the time.

Closing PM on the Compliance Finish date requires Variance?
When closing a PM on the final Compliance date eFactory is asking for a variance? This is new, never required one before on last date.

Batch Review Reconciliation on Completed Task
Batch Review Reconciliation on reviewed WO/TASK that are completed. KMS process staff can review the completed and cancelled jobs. Do a mass select all and one click for later batch processing. This would save time versus doing it one by one and then waiting for system to process the data.
2 votesThis defeats the purpose of having review screen and will mess up the metrics. Review screen motto is to allow supervisors to go through each task and verify rather doing a bulk action.

Create a booked labor report so each technician can verify their total booked labor on a daily basis
Tech utilization is critical to the new SLR metrics. Need a dashboard where techs can go check their total booked labor by day/shift to ensure they closed all of their work orders prior to leaving.
1 voteThis should be the My Work screen of the Work Module. Daily Schedules should be built using the Planner/Scheduler Module within eFactoryPro. Filling our crews and technicians to capacity will give our techs the list of work you are looking for.
Please visit the FMSOS Critical Element for Work Execution Management > Daily Scheduling for more information.

All breakdowns need priority 1 or 2 to be able to assign
Can you please change the system so that all breakdowns become priority 1 or 2 so that Supervisors and Managers can assign these tasks in their portal?
6 votesThanks for the feedback! It is greatly appreciated and keep them coming!
Not all breakdowns should be listed as P1 or P2. These break-ins that break the weekly schedule should be based upon asset criticality, part availability, and customer need. We need to prioritize these jobs among all the other work, including the scheduled maintenance such as PMs, PdMs, and FMs from the weekly schedule. This is our Validation and Approval step of Work Execution Management and a core element to building a reliability program.
This is how we break the cycle of reactive maintenance.
Thanks again,
Kevin Sherman

Attachment option for customer
The customer was once able to use/attach in the Attachment tab. It is view only for the customer now. This needs to be restored, as the customers enjoy the option, and it is extremely helpful to the planner and techs.
1 voteOur customer portal isn't very secure if you think about it. Any past employee can technically get into the customer portal if you think about it since we give the password out to everyone at the site. If they so choose, they have the ability to create work orders. If we allow them to make changes or add attachments, those people can add some bad items directly into our database which is a big risk to ATS.

future labor
for labor entries reopen the ability to put time in the future. On the last update it was removed.
1 voteFor labor entries, we only want to document what has happened. By opening it up to what could happen, our data integrity runs a large risk.

Job visibility in my work
When a technician puts time on a job, is it possible for the job to stay visible in their page (my work)?
1 voteThanks for the submission! As for the My Work screen, we want this to be only the list of work you want the technician to do that day/week. If the technician is assigned that task, they still have visibility of it throughout the week. Once the week is over, if the task is not completed, it returns to the queue to be rescheduled.

daily/weekly toggle switch
Hello, please eliminate the toggle switch for daily/weekly, a majority of the techs continue to forget to use regularly. Thanks.
1 voteMany sites use this to retain visibility of tasks assigned to technicians throughout the week. this also follows our Work Execution Management processes for Daily Scheduling and Work Performance.

Parts search should show location of part without having to add to a task
When searching for a part it doesn't show the location until you add it to the task. Sometimes you don't know if it's correct until you see the part.
1 voteThis was recently added to the new part search in the Portal. After clicking the "Add to Task" button (which doesn't actually add the part need yet), you will see a Part Need Summary screen. At the bottom of the screen, right next to the ATS Part ID, you will see a little information icon. Hover over that icon and you will see the quantity available in each bin. If you don't want to finish creating the part need, you can click the red X at the top right of the screen and go back to the task.

Reduce clicks for filtering
Bring back the hamburger filter option instead of having to use the funnel and then apply. This is more clicks.
1 voteThe new filter tool provides a way for users to perform more complex queries without having to export data first. Users actually perform less clicks than before when filtering by two or more data points.

minimize search efforts
In the description of the product in question. We the technician should be a add a name or what we call that item. Instead of 100447116 Belt;white,69 IN X 3.88 IN W, 90. we should be able to add FLOW WRAPPER OUTSIDE TURN BELT. Also we should be able to delete item from the BOM that don't relate to an asset (piece of equipment). because when I make a work order and put belt or bearing in the search 2k belts or bearings show up and the machine only has 3 different types on it.
1 voteDue to decisions made by Operations and Supply Chain Management, only data integrity specialists are allowed to modify the names and descriptions of part records as these apply to the entire company. BOMs are specific to models not equipment and also apply to the entire company, which is why they are not able to be modified at the site level. The thought behind this is that parts used on repairs at other sites for the same model of equipment would be beneficial for other sites.

Supervisor review. Tile selection stays the same.
In Supervisor tab when reviewing work orders change it so that after one work order is reviewed the next one that populates stays on the same tile. (notes, labor...etc)
5 votesI understand why this would be helpful, but the reason it goes back to the summary tab is to ensure that all information is being looked at, not just the notes or labor. If we have it default to the current tab, we may run the risk of just approving tasks without looking at the other details.

Tech Portal: Assigning Tasks.
When creating a new work order in the eFactory Pro 3.0 Portal, we need to be able to assign the task at that time. This function needs to be accessible to all members and not just the Planner/Scheduler. Requesting all member be given the ability to assign work orders.

Technicians request that "My Schedule" be more visual
Schedule board for technicians lacks information. Technician schedule board should display a ribbon with current (selected) week showing their scheduled hours/task as in the planner portal. They have suggested a drop down or button that will show them scheduled, incomplete/rescheduled tasks and completion for the week. I have a mock up that I can share with you if possible. Please reach out.
1 voteOur scheduling processes have been moved to the portal.

Change Equipment Status to a Required Field
for the customer WO input side of the system, customers are able to submit a work order without selecting UP, DOWN or REDUCED. This needs to be fixed so that this selection is REQUIRED, as when no selection made it defaults to UP. This results in us not getting notifications for machines that are DOWN and need immediate attention.

Need to be able to assign work orders to self
I write a lot of follow up work orders and would like to be able to assign them to myself. What happened to this function?
1 voteThank you for your feedback! Kevin Sherman will be reaching out to explain why Operational Excellence has modified the process for assigning work.

add description to work orders in daily capacity
Daily capacity screen,
work order flow on left lower side of screen.
-ADD "Description" to the tabs just below the asset ID or below the date.
It needs to have either the ability to hover and see complete description or click to expand.thank you for your help this is going to be great after some starch
1 voteExisting functionality covers this need. User was directed to where the information could be found on the task tile.

Tasks screen side by side
Instead of having the list of tasks on top and the task itself on the bottom. Orient them to have the list on the left and the task selected on the right. This is how most systems display lists and detail. Most monitors are widescreen.

Add Task ID to the Feedback Section of Job Plan
It would be nice to see where each feedback line originated from when viewing the feedback in the Job Plan view.
