Receiving parts that already have a bin location for a work order should not default to WORKORDER bin when it is received.
When a tech requests a part that already has a bin location in the system, say 100179699 which is located in shelf D01G and have non on hand, a req will generate under the work order category specifically for that work order. However, once we receive that part in the system, it will automatically default to the "WORKORDER" bin instead of its original bin which was D01G. Can we change this in the system? We never had this issue in SAP, so if the part was canceled from the work order, it would stay in the original bin. This will…
16 votesThe business owners have decided that parts requested against a task should remain in the WORK ORDER bin upon receipt. Parts for refilling stock should not be ordered against tasks, which will prevent them from going to the incorrect bin.

Increase Schedule Board 'Display Field' Maximum
Add a 3rd field to 'Display Field' in the Schedule Board. At present there is a limit on the number of fields you can select in the 'Display Field'. The Schedule Board is a fantastic tool with huge potential. However it is unusable in it's current state. I need a minimum of 3 fields to choose from. I need to have the
1. Task Number
2. Description of the Task
3. Asset Number
Without these 3 fields the Schedule will not make sense1 vote -

Shorten steps for creating MPRO
Creating a proactive work order in the portal actually creates an MRCT. The only way to make a proper MPRO is to do it in the client
Creating a proactive work order in the client takes a lot of steps, and a lot of time.
I'm hoping this thought can go towards the planned Planner/Scheduler part of the portal, but we really need a way to shorten these steps. If we have to create 5+ work orders with so many steps, it takes a very long time in the client. And there isn't a way to PROPERLY do it in…

Part Need quantity edit
Fix the Part Needs edit action so I can edit the the quantity. Otherwise, I have to delete the part need and add a need for the same part with the new quantity.
2 votesThank you for your feedback. Per the Director of MRO and Supply Chain, PO bundling will be negatively affected if part needs are canceled or updated after it has been submitted. Part needs can be entered multiple times on a task for the same part.

Part Usage by Place
This report has been modified several times. However never looking the same as the billable report. Causes you to "retype" this whole report in a different format on a weekly basis. Since the new Eaton request of a new monthly report from all Eaton sites... I request to look into this report having the same layout as the billable report.
Please email me if any questions.1 voteThank you for your feedback. Please use Consumption by Place report instead of Part Usage by Place for added features.

Client: Order Listing of machine History
When I go into the Client to look at the work history of a machine, we are limited to 50 records, but the history shows the first 50 records created opposed to the latest 50 items.
The last 50 records are more important to us than the first 50, such as if one of my employees cancels a work order without properly zeroing out the time.
We need to be able to see that when we research it.
2 votesThe functionality of the client is being moved to the portal. To see list of equipment, please visit the equipment section of eFactoryPro.

Receiving POs - Entering PO ID
When receiving POs, after clicking on New then entering the PO ID, you should be able to hit enter instead using your mouse to click Save. Enter should prompt you to the next page.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this is an inherent behavior of the software. However, the business does have a plan to enable receiving through the eFactoryPro 3 portal, where we would be able to enable time saving steps such as these.

Edit PO GNS Receipt
We need to add a "Delete" button on the lower section of the PO GNS Receipt. If we can add a line, then we need a way to edit the line. If there was a Delete Line option, then we could reduce the amount of down time of waiting on a buyer.
1 voteThank you for your feedback. This is already a function in the system, however, it is limited to the Buyer role to reverse out Saved Receipts, per business decision.

Supply Chain Ability to Edit Due Date
Supply Chain needs to ability to edit the Due Date especially when it's a service order. Eliminates the Buyer having to send past due reports. Majority of the time, the Supply Chain works with the vendors for repairs, services, etc. It would also be beneficial for SC to update Due Date on a parts order. I will sometimes contact the vendor myself to save the buyer time if I'm questioned on delivery dates. I could then update the Due Date myself to have the POs reflect more accurate information giving everyone who's able to view the PO, the expected date.
1 votePlease decline the request. We are making process changes and creating reporting to close this gap for the sites. If we let them change the due date for a part or service on a whim we’d have to create a whole new way of receiving those requests outside of normal communications.
Thank you,

Stock search error started recently appearing. I'm not able to search for a part, put in new info and look for another part.
After I search for a part in Stock, I will put in new data to search for another part and I get the following error:
Invalid data constraint definition found for column internal_descriptn of part table. Blank or empty search value not allowed.
This just started in the last week or two. I was able to do multiple searches in the Stock page before but now I have to close the screen and open up a new search in Stock.

Freight cost report
Create a report for Freight cost. In 2.0, we were able to use ZPOFR and I don't see a report that will show the monthly freight cost that I can add to my monthly cost slide for our metrics meeting.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion. The information you are looking for is still tracked in SAP and can be pulled from that report. Please contact your Site Manager as they should still have read only access to SAP to run reports.

Part needs
Myself and our team feels this would be an enormous help with part needs.
1)Can a "Do Not Substitute" box be added when placing a part need under the portal?
2)Can we as supply chain specialists have the option to receive emails when a hot part need is entered?
Thanks,
-Joel

stanardized ID for each task.
I think that there needs to be a Site identification incorporated into the Task name along with a general task name ,for example: 0178-Conveyor-Monthly. 0178-Conveyor-Weekly-Grease. Right now it is very hard to Identify my own PM Task within the Client.
2 votesIn the client, site specific PM’s are shown when selecting a specific company in the list. 0178PM is the contract type that shows for World’s finest.

Unable to create PC work orders
There is no longer "Planned Corrective" PC option when creating a work order.
2 votesA reactive job can be planned by adding a step, planned start and end time in the client. This still counts towards reactive metrics and planned work.

Identify task by site and equipment and periodicity.
Site 0178 Tasks were not identified any different from any other site. I am setting up a pm for equipment I can't find my task that are associated to that equipment.
1 voteRip,
Your tasks are under Contracts, then select the Equipment ID to the right of the Seq. Go the the “Service History” tab and you can hyperlink into the Work Order/Task from there.

Buyers are only able to open it the first time and receive errors the second time. Some buyers are unable to bundle orders at all.
