Instead of cancelling you could add an additional part need for the additional quantities. I agree though should be able to revise without having to cancel or add.

This is what the SMP (Site Materials Plan) is used for. It will show you your current and calc min/max and the SCS can submit a SAR (Stock Authorization Request) to have the MSS team update.
