ESM: Custom sorting
Request: Please add a custom sort function and/or arrange + display equipment based on criticality.
Current function: equipment tiles auto-arrange based on uptime/downtime.
Business case: the current auto-arrange function does automatically surface down/reduced machines (good), but does not arrange the view of equipment by criticality as well.
A site with a large number of equipment could have critical 5's and critical 4's saturating their view and unable to quickly see uptime of their critical 1's and 2's.
Potential solutions: Would recommend an edit to the display to have swim lanes for criticality, OR the ability to "pin" pieces of equipment to always show at top regardless of status OR the ability to custom sort the tiles via drag-n-drop.

Jimmie,
Thank you for the feedback. The best way to achieve this in the time being would be to F11 the browser to take it full screen on display. The ESM uses a new technology that does not require the screen to refresh, the equipment status are updated within several seconds of the related work orders being updated. If the idea receives enough support we can discuss hiding some of the fields you have discussed. If you have any additional questions please let me know.

Would like to display Status Monitor on large monitor on factory floor. Can a version be made for display purposes only? Remove all the interactive things like search feature and code that pops up information when you click on a machine number. A lean mean page that simply displays equipment status. Have page refresh itself every 5 minutes. Somewhere near top display time/date of last page update. Put page on customer portal.

Add a description of the issue in the event monitor section so that I can see why the machine is down

Dave, thank you for the suggestion. This is planned for Phase 2 development of the ESM, along with the original idea submitted above.

Can the summary of work orders associated to the equipment in the list be hyperlinked so you can go directly to that work order and not have to exit the ESM, go to a completely different section and then review/modify that work order as necessary?

Site 432 needs this as well. Our old map in EF 2.0 was widely used. This new map is irrelevant in a process plant. It would help to be able to arrange the equipment as it is in the process of the facility. Our customer is very upset. The old ESM was a selling point for ATS, now it is a major concern and frustration. Importing the old ESM is the most ideal solution.

* Some downtime is due to the customer and is out of ATS’s control
• Production shutdown for various reasons such as no raw materials avl., enough product produced at this time, etc.
o This would be true SCHEDULED DOWNTIME for ATS
