Supply Chain: Add ability to input additional 'internal notes' to Req/PO after released to Purchasing buyer
SCS need the ability to add internal notes to Req/POs after req. is released to Purchasing - this would aid in communication and maintain PO historical info. Buyer would need notification of a note being added to the request.
Supply Chain Specialist
Ability to add notes to the req or PO after released to buyer
Allows site to keep notes on the PO for record
Reduces need to call or email the buyer
Supply chain will be moving to D365, this functionality is included in that system.

SCS roles need to have the capability to input SES entry lines under the notes tab when processing invoices against blanket GNS PO's. The SES entry line (example: SES-INV #99441122-$210.00) gives visibility to match the invoice number to the correlating dollar amount listed on the "quantity consumed" line. This entry ensures/minimizes the potential for grief and paying for the same service more than once.

Thank you for your feedback. Those who have the Supply Chain Specialist role can continue to add notes to a purchase order even after posting, by clicking on the Notes tab and then clicking New. As long as you use a Line Code of "PO", these notes will not show up on the purchase order. Please let us know if this does not meet your needs.

After the recent changes of the Purchase order/req screen. We at site level can not add anything to the req/po after releasing. I understand the reasoning behind this. However the sites utilize the comments very often for further communication that helps for future purchases and issues with that po or part. Can we not have it changed so the site level can not change anything but can add internal notes to the req/po after releasing? This change has been more hurtful than helpful on the comments.
