Tech Portal: Task Screen Has Too Many Columns
Task view in the portal has too many columns. This needs to be cleaned up to be more useful for the technicians at our site.
Having a custom option to hide columns would help.

There needs to be an option to select which columns appear when on the Tasks screen. Being able to save a simplified view would make navigating much easier.

I would like to see my home page columns spread out to where I can read each column. Currently I have to drag and open up every column to view it. (Ex. task ID only shows the first 3 numbers, same applies for Asset ID)

Under "Work Orders" custom, i would like to be able to see PM compliance date, or at least choose the fields displayed.

While I appreciate all the information provided through the portal, it would be fantastic if we could save screen settings in the technician portal by individual or site. For a planner/scheduler, I need to see all the info, but technicians at my site would benefit by seeing less information. I am sure this would likely be site specific.

I would like to see two columns added in "All Tasks" with the task completed date and task labor hrs. This would be helpful for my technicians, when working on cost savings or RCA's since they don't have access to run a shift report to get the data they need. Most of the time they need to know how many labors hours was spent working on a reoccurring issue, and need to pull 1 year data from when a solution was implemented and work order completed.

make it so we can get rid of some of the 19 vertical rows. It is so crowded and the information being displayed is so cropped, it is almost useless. The people who came up with this should have to use it, go back to the old version because at least that was workable.

This just got worse with the last update. Safety and WMAT were added. Real estate is a premium on the task screen. It's nearly impossible to navigate on a smaller screen. Would like to use this on a tablet but the columns all run together.

In one of my previous works I used a portal called TFS (Team Foundation Server), It has the ability to customize the columns on the "search area" that feature gave me an easy way to export different kind of reports. so, this is a good idea.

I would prefer the simple additional filter of "not like" or "not equal to" for all of the fields.

on the new task page there is too much useless information. need to see asset description in full as well as task description better. dont need to see team, tech (its your que), created; planned;compliance start finish section takes up too much room. Thank you.

just a thought right out of the box. if i could add or remove columns in the upper viewing area it would be handy. Im a technician that does not have to worry about compliances that often or task numbers (unless im the one working on it) and they are all going to be my site. These are columns that eat up real estate that i could use on the description box.

Tech's would like an option to view all open tasks that are not PM's. Otherwise they always have to filter

Have ability to hide columns as a custom filter that saves your preference. As opposed to shrinking the columns to hide them every time I open the portal.
