Receiving parts that already have a bin location for a work order should not default to WORKORDER bin when it is received.
When a tech requests a part that already has a bin location in the system, say 100179699 which is located in shelf D01G and have non on hand, a req will generate under the work order category specifically for that work order. However, once we receive that part in the system, it will automatically default to the "WORKORDER" bin instead of its original bin which was D01G. Can we change this in the system? We never had this issue in SAP, so if the part was canceled from the work order, it would stay in the original bin. This will…
16 votesThe business owners have decided that parts requested against a task should remain in the WORK ORDER bin upon receipt. Parts for refilling stock should not be ordered against tasks, which will prevent them from going to the incorrect bin.

Supply Chain: Add ability to input additional 'internal notes' to Req/PO after released to Purchasing buyer
SCS need the ability to add internal notes to Req/POs after req. is released to Purchasing - this would aid in communication and maintain PO historical info. Buyer would need notification of a note being added to the request.
Supply Chain Specialist

Reduces need to call or email the buyer16 votesSupply chain will be moving to D365, this functionality is included in that system.

Get the Kitting function in the client operational. Giving a Kitted part its own part number with the sub components listed below.
Kitted part has own part number
Sub Components have individual part numbers
when kitted part is pulled from inventory all sub component parts are pulled out the system to keep counts correct.14 votesDeclined because the functionality of the Job Plans, Staging, and Kitting processes correct this.

I would like to be able to export the schedule board into an excel file.
With the ability to export to excel , we have the opportunity to communicate the schedule with the team using a spreadsheet and a GANT chart to help visualize there scheduled workday
12 votesThe business has decided to use a Daily Schedule view for technicians to communicate what they should be working on each day. This will be the homepage for technicians using the Technician Module.

Assign a technician to a reoccurring PM
There is no option available to assign a technician to a recurring task. Only option is to do it manually every week.
11 votesWe are declining due to our Work Execution Management processes.
We do not plan individual tasks to people. This holds true for PM, PdM, and Corrective Maintenance tasks. Our processes are in place to make our system less people specific and more process dependent.

Need 3 Year PM Frequency in eFP 3.0
Pressurized vessels need to have safety relief valves replaced every 3 years (per industry standard and state inspector recommendation). We do not have the ability to create 3 year PMs at this time in eFP 3.0. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Thank you.
11 votesDeb,
We currently have a three-year PM frequency in the system. You will want to use the Schedule Rule of TRIANNUAL, which will make your PM due every three calendar years.

Inventory PO with GNS carriage line
When receiving a parts/ inventory PO in the UK we have no option from the SCS screen in the client to view from the inventory receiving screen if there is a GNS carriage line to receipt in also. Neither screen provides this hence either the part isn't booked in or the carriage is missed. It would be beneficial if there was a way to view both from each screen to avoid invoice grief issues.

Allow customers to add attachments when submitting a work order.
As a customer, it would be very beneficial to be able to add attachments to work orders I am submitting. I want to use attachment for pictures or prints describing the work needing completed.
6 votesDue to IT security concerns this is not something we are willing to give the customer access to. If attachments need to be added to the task, please have them send it to our ATS team to validate the document before uploading it to our servers.

Equipment readings (Meters) that accept free form Data entry
There are only three types of readings available; "Hit Count," "Hours operated," and "Units Produced." These meter types require that each reading increments from the previous reading. However, when trying to record fluctuating readings such as Level or Temperature it is possible to have readings that are lower than the previous reading. Would like to see a reading type that allows free form data entry so a fluctuating reading can be tracked over time.

Completed Workorders are locked and can not be opened again.
Once a workorder is closed, it can not be opened again to add time or do anything that can be done as if it were open. This is very annoying as fellow techs will sometimes complete workorders and forget to put other techs time or sometimes the workorder is not fully accurate as something could be incorrect and can not be reopened at all to correct. Once a workorder is reviewed, it can not be accessed to edit, but completing a workorder should not be locked out for a tech. It would be very convenient and a very good idea…
4 votesThis is declined because we need to make sure all work requests are handled with integrity. Detail is very important when reviewing tasks for completion.

Shorten steps for creating MPRO
Creating a proactive work order in the portal actually creates an MRCT. The only way to make a proper MPRO is to do it in the client
Creating a proactive work order in the client takes a lot of steps, and a lot of time.
I'm hoping this thought can go towards the planned Planner/Scheduler part of the portal, but we really need a way to shorten these steps. If we have to create 5+ work orders with so many steps, it takes a very long time in the client. And there isn't a way to PROPERLY do it in…
4 votesThe MPRO follow-up process has improved and is accurate based on SMRP best practices.

Issues recording time.
Always having to repetitively put the same labor time and notes and update malfunction time and it will not record. Sometimes the WO selected will jump to another WO and record labor and notes on different WO than selected.

2 votesClosing a task locks all data, per request from the business. This prevents data from being changed after it has been reported on the metrics.

Part Need quantity edit
Fix the Part Needs edit action so I can edit the the quantity. Otherwise, I have to delete the part need and add a need for the same part with the new quantity.
2 votesThank you for your feedback. Per the Director of MRO and Supply Chain, PO bundling will be negatively affected if part needs are canceled or updated after it has been submitted. Part needs can be entered multiple times on a task for the same part.

Client: Order Listing of machine History
When I go into the Client to look at the work history of a machine, we are limited to 50 records, but the history shows the first 50 records created opposed to the latest 50 items.
The last 50 records are more important to us than the first 50, such as if one of my employees cancels a work order without properly zeroing out the time.
We need to be able to see that when we research it.
2 votesThe functionality of the client is being moved to the portal. To see list of equipment, please visit the equipment section of eFactoryPro.

Part needs
Myself and our team feels this would be an enormous help with part needs.
1)Can a "Do Not Substitute" box be added when placing a part need under the portal?
2)Can we as supply chain specialists have the option to receive emails when a hot part need is entered?
Thanks,
-Joel

stanardized ID for each task.
I think that there needs to be a Site identification incorporated into the Task name along with a general task name ,for example: 0178-Conveyor-Monthly. 0178-Conveyor-Weekly-Grease. Right now it is very hard to Identify my own PM Task within the Client.
2 votesIn the client, site specific PM’s are shown when selecting a specific company in the list. 0178PM is the contract type that shows for World’s finest.

Verify task assigned to equipment.
PM task were not verified prior to assigning to an equipment. Pump pm task assigned to conveyor equipment.
