Zero Quantity
Have a site bin location in the tech portal for parts that have a zero quantity. That way the tech can check the location to verify the quantity is zero. There have been occasions when the system says zero when in fact there are parts in the bin location or mistakenly placed in adjacent bin.

It would be nice if system did not remove parts location when none in stock so if we had a used one on shelf we would no where to find it

Right now I run the Simple Inventory Status Report once a month and send it to the techs. That way they have a way to look at the real location. Even if the part location shows work order, if it has a shelf location, it will show both locations.
