Malfunction Changes creating an event
There needs to be an event logged when someone changes or adds a malfunction to a ticket. Too many times has a malfunction been ended, deleted, or started without the system logging an event and this causing confusion on the actual status of a machine and what work was done.

PM Schedule Rules
There needs to be 12 WEEK, 24 WEEK and 48 WEEK PM schedule rules to match 4 WEEK. This allows for PMs to be scheduled to land on the exact same day of the week every time they generate. This makes is significantly simpler to schedule these PMs with the customer and minimizes downtime as the asset only needs to be down once for each PM event instead of multiple times. Estimated hours on tasks
In the list of Open Tasks on the Technician screen in eFactory Pro (not the Client), it would be helpful to display the estimated number of hours for each task and let that number be exported when sending the list to an Excel spreadsheet.
3 votesThis is possible via the Planner Portal.

Data transfer speed
The data transfer rate is ungodly. It takes an excessive amount of time to pull up a work order. This is causing us to get behind.

Fixing the broken parts search
Please fix the parts search. It's extremely frustrating to check the location of a part suspected to be correct and then lose the entire search. Also the ability to sort by manufacturer would be very helpful. Maybe have the parts search function similar to how the tasks lists work so that the different aspects of the parts are searchable/sortable

Add a checkbox in the client that allows PS to activate or disable PMs
The current method of cancelling PMs is time consuming. Adding a checkbox will help identify and label PMs as active or inactive without comprising the existing data in our system. There is no way to identify which PMs the site wishes to disable due to the PM no longer being needed or multiple PMs being combined into one.

Easier inventory search
First, set up a separate site specific tab for going directly to inventory without the need of going through a work order.
Second, give a back progression option in the parts search, or different dialogue boxes within the search so that we don't have to keep going back to the beginning each time we get to the part and find it isn't the one we were looking for.

Change the optimization process
eFactory doesn't recognize a change to the PM if you modify just the steps, you have to change the task description or the duration for the system to see the change, Change the system so it recognizes step changes as a change without having to modify the description or the duration.

Template Steps Numbering
It would be great if the automatic numbering of steps was in mulitples of 10. Example: first step would be 10, next would be 20, and so on. Then inserting new steps would be easy. If you need to insert a step between 40 and 50, you would number the new step 41, or 45.

PM MODIFICATION SEARCH TOOL / DIFF
I would like to be able to go back and see the changes I have made on PM over any given time period. Right now there is no way to diff modifications to PMs. Customers have asked to see the PM optimizations that have been made over the past year and it is impossible from what I can see.
1 votecompleted · AdminOldfield, Michelle (Business Analyst, Advanced Technology Services, Inc.) respondedJob Plans modifications can be viewed on the History tab of the job plan in the Planner Portal. This history can also be accessed through Power BI.
