Entered work order checkpoint
Recent customer tasks should not contain PM's. The title leads me to believe that we should only see work orders that were manually entered in the last 24hr (72hr for Monday) period. We need a way of easily finding what would have been considered a notification in eFP2. Our customer (and techs) should be capable of making a work order but there needs to be a checkpoint for site leadership (planner/SM/customer management) to have a say in whether the job should actually be done. Example, an individual may put in a work order for a job that has a negative…

screen shift issue
have screen shift before i start typing
1 voteHello, if you are creating a work order and clicking into the Description window, the screen will shift. The current design forces the screen to shift in order to view the Submit screen. This is not a defect of the system, but rather a design implementation that needs to be reviewed.
Thank you,

ESM - factory layout
The (main) page should have a 'ESM' link similar to the one in efactory 2.0. The link provides you with an interactive layout of all the machines in there respective areas. I think efactory 3.0 would benefit from the same (or updated/modernized) style of layout. Would streamline work order completion.

Sub Status field needed
need a sub-status field for work order so you can quickly see more info regarding status i.e.
1. waiting for parts
2. WO Ready (ready to scheduled)
3. scheduled
4. In planningetc. because we don't have this field, a lot of time is spent opening each individual work order to understand what is the status. thanks

Customer's name is not on the work order.
Most work orders are poorly described what equipment or the actual issue effecting the customer. If there is no name it makes it hard to help the customer.
9 votesThis feature has been added to the live environment for eFactoryPro 3.0. The name entered by the requester will now show in the “contact” box on the task and work order.

Techs are not able to write proactive work orders from the portal after completing a PM.
Most PM's are Grease and Inspect. When a tech identifies a issue with a conveyor belt in the past he would put a work order in so we can order a belt in advanced prior to the belt becoming non-serviceable. Right now every work order is reactive that a tech submits. We are even unable to write FM workorder's.
11 votesAnytime you have a proactive work order and you add another task onto it, before closing it out, that new task is also considered proactive. The task will go towards your proactive metrics. The task type will be FM – follow up maintenance. This is the only task type that is used with Preventative Maintenance or Predictive work. Again, since we are tracking everything at the task level, as long as the work is found during a proactive job, the work is also considered proactive.

PM name should reflect maintenance performed.
Work order name does not reflect maintenance performed, only reports Autogenerated Request creation from Contract PM .

Picture attachments.
Having trouble adding attachments such as pictures to the work orders .
6 votesVerified that picture attachments are working in the production portal. If an attachment is over 5MB, the attachment will not attach.

Planners and Supervisors need the ability to change equipment status prior to assigning the task.
Customer submits work orders for work identifying the equipment "down" when in fact the equipment is operational. Planners or Supervisors could change prior to assigning reducing questions about whether the equipment is actually down, ambiguous or reduced. "the tech can't even change to up"

Tech name on open work order list
When exporting the open work orders, I need to see "assigned tech". This will save me time from having to go to the individual work order to find out what tech is assigned the job.
1 voteThe Assigned Technician shows in the technician area of the portal. Go to Technician→Tasks→Assigned Tasks in the portal to see all tasks assigned to all individuals. Export the list and filter.

Log in issues
The system doesn't change to a different technician when you first log in under your own name. The system logs in under the last person that used the computer and not the tech who signed in.
1 votecompleted · AdminRyan Gardner (Technical Support Specialist II, Advanced Technology Services, Inc.) respondedThank you for expressing your concern!
This can be remedied by ensuring each user logs off the system when done with the task at hand instead of just closing the browser. If the user does not logoff of the system, it is possible for the site to load a cached (or locally stored) page which will show the incorrect username.

I need to be able to specify if a malfunction was DOWN or REDUCED.
In the eFactoryPro 2.0, I was able to classify a malfunction/work order as a DOWN work order. In eFactoryPro 3.0, everything is only listed as being UP after a repair. How do I know if it was a down or reduced work order?
6 votesAdd a new field (Malfunction Type) to the Task Summary Screen, and implement the following validation: DOWN OR REDUCED value required upon task completion if malfunction start AND stop times recorded. Can’t be NULL OR Ambiguous
