Tech Portal: Default MOTH Work Order Tasks to EV
As a technician, I would like MOTH (maintenance other ) tasks to default to EV (event) instead of PR (project) when created since the vast majority of MOTH WOs submitted by the customer are EV's at my site.
3 votesAfter consulting with FMS leadership, they have decided to leave the default task type as Project for all customer requests that are not corrective maintenance.

Tech Portal: Add 'Finish Date' to open Work Order view (PM's)
Open Work orders screen only displays "Created Date" for work orders. For PMs, it would be significantly more beneficial to see a finish date in order to quickly see status of open PMs in relation to compliance finish date.
1 voteWork Orders do not have Compliance Finish Dates; only Tasks are assigned a Compliance Start and Compliance Finish Date. Because of this. there is no Compliance Finish Date information to display on the Open Work Order screen.

Streamline Closing of Tasks
When in EFactoryPro 3.0 - technician - work order task -when attempting to close a task that is OPM - instead of using my name can the OPM"s Department (Houghton, Production, Quality, etc?) available and can the labor date/time entries be blank?
I will open and close 5,980 OPM work orders/tasks next year and this would save a bunch of time.
1 voteThank you for your feedback. Unfortunately users without a Workday profile can not be added to a Team within EFP 3. Not including labor on your PM tasks is not recommended as it would negatively affect your Proactive and Planned Metrics.

On the Work Order Header: can we use the empty blocks?
To me it looks like there is blocks on the work order header that are empty. I have them labeled below as “MPTY BLK”. Is there any way to open a couple of these to use them like Revision Codes in the old SAP system? And of course to be able to search with them?

Enable WMAT tracking by adding Substatus of WO
Allow technicians to add sub-statuses to WORK ORDER. That way we can track waiting on material via our powerBI metrics.
1 voteThis status is already available at the work order level. However, per the request of the product/business owners this sub-status will be moving to the task level, where there will also be a “waiting on service” and “waiting on production” option. Feature #36824

Close workorder as incomplete.
When a PM is not complete and you want to close it as incomplete. IE customer plant is shut down. Or they run the weekend and tell you to skip them.
We need a fast way to close them and still have them show as incomplete on the metric and in an audit. But have the work order go away1 voteCanceling the PM Task will ensure that it affects your PM Compliance and Completion Metrics. The Work Order should not regenerate after cancellation.

Activity change button.
On the summary page we the technicians need to be able to change the activity type on the page. If the work order activity is wrong we have to close the work order out and create a new work order with the correct activity. This is a major issue causing a lot of problems for the technicians. This could be a simple fix.
1 voteActivity types can be changed by technicians as long as the new activity type is within the same Work Order Category. IE, MRCT, etc. If the new activity type is in a different Work Order Category, the current Work Order needs to be Canceled and a new Work Order needs to be created.

ESM quick link
On the ESM is it possible to double click on the asset box and open up the most recent task request? This is primarily to find out the status of a machine breakdown.
1 voteThis functionality is already there. If you click on an equipment tile, a list of tasks appear in the bottom section of the screen. They are sorted from most recent to oldest.
In the coming months, this section will be changed to show only the tasks that are directly affecting the status of the machine.

FIX eFactory Pro
I have refreshed cache and logged out and restarted eFACTORYPRO but when I am in Tasks tab it by default opens my open task. If I click and bring up the pull down menu and go to Recent tasks, from recent tasks it won't let me access the pull down menu anymore!

GMP checked off prior to closing work order.
Require GMP line items to be captured during close out of task and work order. The customer will be able to prove to an outside inspector Maintenance is adhering to GMP.
2 votesA pre-task step can be added instead of creating additional workflow.

Unassigned Work Orders
Unassigned work orders and tasks. We recently had an employee leave ATS to seek other opportunities. I emailed IT support and asked them to remove the employee from efactory 3.0. IT removed the employee as requested. This caused all completed work orders and task previously completed by this employee to move to the unassigned tab (supervisor). These completed tasks will stay in limbo until they are reassigned. Can we fix this?

No parts on work order (but on task)
When you click on the Parts tab, a message says "No parts on this work order".....even though there are several parts on a task "ON this work order".
1 voteAny parts that have been used will show on the work order. If the parts have not been consumed, they will not appear on the Work order.
