Query other sites inventory for equipment by same manufacturer or by model number
It would benefit a site manager to know that another ATS site had a machine with same or similar model number or manufacturer that could be contacted for phone/Skype/visit support.

Reverse part look up for SCS
We as supply chain specialists would benefit from being able to view the machines that each part belongs to. If we have a part #, and we're not sure which machine or machines the part applies to, it would be great to be able to see where the part belongs or has been in the past.

Status change when using schedule board
When assigning work in the schedule board, why doesn't the tasks reflect status change. I dropped a task into the scheduled board, and task still shows open versus assigned. Assigned is an option on the task in the portal, but not an option in the drop down menu in the client.

This has been built into the new Daily Capacity scheduling screen in the Planner Portal.

Daily Site Trending Report
IT Services requested I'd submit a change request for the Daily Site Trend Report. Data on this report, from what I was told, is including "Canceled" tasks. All information on this report refers to "open". Report does not seem to be working correctly, not giving valid "open" data.

If a task has been canceled you can't go to the work order to cancel it. The work order stays open

Tech Portal: Add the field 'Building Location' on the work order tasks
We need the parameter 'Building Location' in the work order tasks on the Optimized v4 Portal.
For the site 010 Caterpillar Torreon, Mexico, is mandatory to know the exact location of each machine. The reason is that this site has more than 2570 equipment.

Building Location has been added to the Task Summary panel in the Portal. As mentioned in the comments below, PBI 41637 is currently being worked to add the Building Location field to the Work Order Report.

Tech Portal: Hold and Waiting on Material Task
Due to Waiting for Materials being moved to a sub-status we still need so type of main status to associate work orders too when they are waiting on materials so its visible when looking at all the task.
The Hold status is also an issue bc its almost not visible at all when searching and doesn't show when a work order is assigned in the system to a person and is on hold (they don't see it in the my task box)

PBI 39571 has been completed and released to production, which added “Hold” as an option to sort task statuses by. The business decided to move Waiting on Materials to the Task level and include it as a Sub-Type, so that it could be permanently marked and able to be included on reporting.

Color code safety work orders; pink
In past iterations of efactory work orders coded as safety would show up color coded as pink in the equipment status monitor. efactory 3.0 no longer does this. I believe that it would add tremendous value to the customer to make safety work orders visible again so the can be prioritized more readily. In the past safety work orders were color coded as pink.
4 votesThis feature update has been released on 3.26.19! You will now see a safety triangle badge on the Equipment tile (bottom right corner) for any piece of equipment that has an open Safety task. In addition, colored shields will display for open PM tasks.

Tech Portal: Task Sub-Type displayed in Task List
In the tech portal, "List View" of work order Tasks, please add a column for the Task Sub-Type so that the Buyer is able to see the sub-type of "Waiting on Materials".
CAT Pontiac does not have parts in 3.0, so we need an alternate way of letting the buyer know that parts are needed, instead of going into each task individually.

This exists in the Tech Portal under the Labor Hours tab. This tab shows current labor hours for the week.

Add the field Duration into the report Forecast schedule PM
This field (Duration) is vital for the Planners because with this, each planner can see how many man power hours are need for to complete their pm plan.

The PM Duration field has been added to the PM Schedule Forecast Report and released to production.

Repair Code Objects needed
In the Task, under REPAIR CODES, Apex International needs to have the following added to OBJECT: CODER, LABELER, CAPPER. These are the 3 major objects this site deals with. This will help improve their metrics tremendously. Right now they are using OTHER since nothing else fits.

Reports: Generating a BOM list for Inventory Parts
Sites should be able to generate a Bill of Materials "BOM" report for a particular equipment/machine model. The report needs to list all parts associated with that piece of equipment. We should be able to generate the report utilizing the four digit site#, place ID#, machine model# and/or even by site's asset ID#.

Client: Schedule Board -- Should be able to move Tasks by click and drag on the schedule board. Much easier to see daily plan of employee.

This has been corrected in the client, so that dragging a task now updates the Planned Start and End Dates/Times correctly.

Can you please add a search field for asset number in the Task Template tab.
It takes too long to get the the Task Template you require.

Portal task cancellations
When technicians are cancelling tasks from the portal and use the red "X" the system will not allow the task to be cancelled with an active malfunction; however, if the technician goes to thew summary edit button and changes the status of the task to cancelled it will allow the task to be cancelled with an active malfunction still adding time to the machine. This needs to be made to where both ways are voided out if there is an active malfunction.

Rick, thank you for your feedback! This was a bug reported a couple weeks ago that has been corrected by our development team. The fix will be released to production next Tuesday, May 8th.

Should not let techs cancel down tasks
Work orders or tasks should not be allowed to be cancelled when they still have malfunction or downtime on them. The cancel button doesn't let you do it, but if you hit edit, it lets you get past that restriction.

The bug fix for this issue was released on 05/08/18. The cancelled status is no longer an option on a task with a malfunction against it.

Print post/beam locations on work orders for the asset when printing out a order
Have pole location print on the work order when it is printed. Currently we have to print out PM work orders, then look up location and hand write it on the work order. Not very efficient.

Tech Portal: Change the time of PM 'compliance finish' to 11:59 pm
The compliance finish time for PMs currently shows 12:00am on the date that it is due.
This leads to confusion on the techs part who think they are doing it on the final day of the window when in fact it is now passed due.
Can we change the time default to 11:59pm of the day it is due?

This issue has been resolved and was released to production last Tuesday. The Reason for Variance field is now solely based on the Compliance Finish Date and does not take time into account.
