Part Usage by Place
This report has been modified several times. However never looking the same as the billable report. Causes you to "retype" this whole report in a different format on a weekly basis. Since the new Eaton request of a new monthly report from all Eaton sites... I request to look into this report having the same layout as the billable report.
Please email me if any questions.1 voteThank you for your feedback. Please use Consumption by Place report instead of Part Usage by Place for added features.

ESM: Auto-update every 5 minutes
New ESM looks great. Would it be possible to have page refresh itself every 5 minutes?
Then we can put ESM on a screen and leave it - will have a snapshot view of whats going on in your plant.Add this to the header section of webpage:
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="300">2 votesThe ESM is built on new technology that refreshes the data without a page refresh being required. You should be able to update the work orders related to the respective equipment tiles and watch it adjust in real time.

Make part cost visible in the tech portal.
Make the cost of parts visible for technicians when reserving a part. We need access to this for approval purposes on overnight shifts when we have no supply chain support.
1 voteThank you for your feedback. Per the Director of MRO and Supply Chain, part cost information will not be displayed in the Tech Portal.

WO number + Task number report
Need a way to compare Open work orders with Open Tasks.
Site currently shows 681 open work orders with only 542 open tasks. Obviously this is wrong. However there isn't a report to run that shows BOTH work order numbers and TASK numbers along with descriptions and etc.
Being able to bump these WO/Tasks against each other would be tremendously useful.
1 voteThis report would serve a very limited purpose, as open work orders do not count against any metrics. The development effort would not bring enough added value to the product.

Row height not big enough for data.
On the Tasks display screen, the rows are all the same size causing part of the data to not be seen. It would be beneficial to increase the row height to fit the data for each row. Also minimizing the font size would help as well.

Customer name on work order.
When the customer enters a work order they also enter their name. But when we get the work order it shows customer. We really need the customers name that entered it on the work order. That way we can talk with the correct individual and get any details that will help complete the job quicker. An example would be we respond to the work order on a test stand where several people are working and we start having to asking individuals who put the work order in. Talking to the correct individual saves a lot of time on repairs.
1 voteThis capability currently exists on the Work Order screen in the Portal. The requester name is located on the Summary section of the Work Order screen, in the Requester field.

Canceled Work Orders - Under Supervisor
Canceled Work orders should not be a list for approval. Why is this information there? Should we be approving this growing list? It makes no sense to have this list since work orders are canceled for a reason. System should remove on its own.
1 voteMarc, thank you for your feedback! It was a decision made by the FMS business to require canceled work orders to be reviewed. This allows site management to view which work requests have been cancelled and be able to answer any customer questions that arise from the cancellation.

time entry
We used to be able to enter end time on work orders that was in the future. THIS WAS A NICE FEATURE! I sometimes fill out work orders near the end of the day, but will work until the last minuet.
1 voteJames, thank you for your feedback! While we can see how you would use this feature, Operations decided to not allow time stamps that are dated in the future. This was a decision made to enhance data accuracy and prevent work from being recorded prior to being done.

Requestor needs to appear on task
techs need to see a requestor field in the task level please to know whom to speak with at customer level.
1 voteRichard, thank you for your feedback! The requestor is shown at the work order level, since that contains the actual work request information. If you click on the work order tab next to the task tab, you will see a field for “Requestor” in the summary section of the work order.

Tech Portal: Mass assign TASKS to technicians
Planners / supervisors need a way to assign more than a single task at a time to technicians.
Tech Portal
Planner scheduling
Add ability to mass assign work order tasks
Assigning one work order at a time is time consuming7 votesThe business owners have determined that tasks should be scheduled individually using the Daily Capacity screen in the Planner Portal. This ensures that the right skillset is assigned to each task.

Split screen??
Get rid of the split screen. I don't understand the logic behind this.
1 voteTravis, thank you for your feedback! The decision was made to use the split screen so that you could view work order and task information without losing search results in the grid above. You can make a work order or task full screen by clicking on the Expand arrow at the top right of the panel, thus eliminating the default split-screen view.

Tech Portal: Ability to see 'performed by' an contract vendor or operator
It is necessary to be able to see in the task on the portal if this task is performed by an contract vendor or operator performance
1 voteEmmanuel, thank you for your feedback. We have two task sub-types that you can use for tasks that are performed by someone other than ATS staff: Operator Performed and Vendor Contract. These sub-types can be viewed on the Task summary screen in the Portal.

eliminate e-mail notifications.
What would it take to disable the e-mail notifications for work orders it really is redundant for our site.
1 voteDonald, thank you for your feedback! It was a business decision to have new work order notifications going out to each site and this can not be customized per site. I would suggest creating an email rule in Outlook that delivers all these emails to a “Clutter” box that you can delete at a later time.

Cambio de idioma
Es necesario que este en Español. No todos los técnicos saben Inglés
1 voteThis issue was corrected by changing the browser language to Spanish.

Client: Order Listing of machine History
When I go into the Client to look at the work history of a machine, we are limited to 50 records, but the history shows the first 50 records created opposed to the latest 50 items.
The last 50 records are more important to us than the first 50, such as if one of my employees cancels a work order without properly zeroing out the time.
We need to be able to see that when we research it.
2 votesThe functionality of the client is being moved to the portal. To see list of equipment, please visit the equipment section of eFactoryPro.

Tech Portal: New Part Need Icon idea
When you go to Parts and need to request a new part, you shouldn't have to start to type anything in order for the "New Part" icon to pop up.
It should already be visible and available when you click on to search My Site Stock.Tech Portal
New part need
Supply chain2 votesThank you for our feedback. Per the Director of MRO and Supply Chain, current design and functionality will be maintained for new part need requests.

Tech Portal - Delete actions in Control Center
Add option to delete Actions inside of the status monitors in the control center.
1 voteKevin, thanks for the feedback. As with other data in eFP 3.0, we don’t want to delete any historical event monitor actions in case it needs to be referenced in the future. Actions can be inactivated by unchecking the “Active” flag on the Actions tab of the event monitor.

Tech Portal: Searching for OPEN PMs
Give a proper search bar. Allow us to search for OPEN PMs for our site.
1 voteThe Task Grid in the Portal has an option for All Open PMs. This will allow you to see all open PM tasks at your site. The work order screen does not have this type of search because the entire work order is not a PM. It may be proactive, but with Follow-Up Maintenance tasks or Predictive tasks underneath it.
