List of problems
These are the problems with doing p.m.'s in the new system:
*No Machine locations anymore
*Under task description the machine's are duplicated with incorrect machine numbers
*The time it takes to print out a p.m.
*The p.m.'s for m, q, sa, are all separate p.m.'s and not together like the old sap taking longer times to open and print then close them all,
Another issue is no e-mail notifications for down machines

Escalation Notification - Requestor name
Can the task requestor be included in the email notification for escalations ref down/ reduced tasks entered by the customer. It is beneficial if the technician knows who raised the issue as on a number of occasions those in the cell do not know who raised the ticket; also production might move said operators from cell to another one until a tech arrives and fixes the issue.

Please add "Lubrication System" as a repair code object.
Please add "Lubrication System" as a repair code object. This is needed to track lubrication system issues to identify asset improvement opportunities.
12 votesThe product owners for eFP 3.0 felt that lubrication system was too general and that a more specific object should be chosen.

Enable New Part button on initial request screen
Enable the "New Part" button when initially requesting parts. Right now the only button that comes up is "New Service" and you have to start typing in a number before "New Part" comes up. This is leading to increasingly frequent mistakes when entering new part requests.
6 votesThank you for the feedback! This is intended functionality to encourage technicians to look for parts before they attmept to just create a new part. This is intended to prevent ‘new’ requests for parts that already exist within the system. We have just finished designing the new part search and think this will make that feature more transparent as well.

While we understand the importance of knowing the description of the issue causing a malfunction, the task description can’t be added to the Malfunction panel due to column width limitations. To help make it easier to access that information, we implemented Work Order and Task IDs in that panel that directly link to the Work Order/Task records in the Portal. This should allow you to see any of the work order or task information with a single click.

Need more RCA options
Recover Machine or something like that should be a resolution option.

Add all work orders to the status monitor
Add all work orders to the status monitor instead of just the ones with malfunction. This will make it easy to bundle work orders on equipment.

Please correct the Portal column names for "Mfr. Name" & "Mfr. Part #" for ATS Part ID list
Currently the portal has Mfr. Part #s listed in column named "MFG" and the Mfr. names are listed in column titled "MFG PART NUMBER". The column titles should be corrected to match the data per column.
1 voteCurt, thanks for reporting this. As this is a system bug, I will be entering this into our VSO development system for correction. I am closing this request out since it’s not a system enhancement and will provide you with the bug number.

Source name on work order not just customer
Add source name to work order so techs can communicate directly with source about issue when need arise.
1 voteRequestor can be found on the summary of the Work Order tab. I contacted Rowland and showed him how to find this information. He is good with where it is currently located.

Shift Report-Add Work Order Status Field
Add work order status to the shift turnover report. This will be used to audit sites work order statuses versus task statuses. Problem is sites have open work orders with closed tasks, and need to manage this discrepancy.

Add Object Under Repair Code
Please add the option for "Filler" in object drop down menu in the repair tab.
1 votePer Amy McNail, this is a type of equipment, not an object on a piece of equipment. She is working with the user to help them set up the correct asset.

Job type
Hello, We have a opportunitty here in Nuevo Laredo with the Efactory pro 3.0 normally we give support to operations when they have the machine down by a setup or fixture repairs.
The problem here this type of order is very frequently they are introducing like MRCT because for them the machine really is down but by something that is out of our scoope.
Once the work order are in the system there are not a option to change to"others", this cause us a rework because to correct this is neccessary cancel and make new order with the correct type.

Add "requestor" as a column in task tabs in portal
Add a new column in the task tab which indicates who created the task
similar to how the work order tab does.2 votesBriand, thank you for your feedback! Work orders are directly requested by customers, as they represent the work request that needs to be resolved. Tasks represent the record where all the technician’s labor, remarks, and part usages are stored. They are not requested by the customer, but are attached to a work order to provide data on the repair. For this reason, the task grid does not show a requestor, since tasks are not requested.

Receiving parts that already have a bin location for a work order should not default to WORKORDER bin when it is received.
When a tech requests a part that already has a bin location in the system, say 100179699 which is located in shelf D01G and have non on hand, a req will generate under the work order category specifically for that work order. However, once we receive that part in the system, it will automatically default to the "WORKORDER" bin instead of its original bin which was D01G. Can we change this in the system? We never had this issue in SAP, so if the part was canceled from the work order, it would stay in the original bin. This will…
16 votesThe business owners have decided that parts requested against a task should remain in the WORK ORDER bin upon receipt. Parts for refilling stock should not be ordered against tasks, which will prevent them from going to the incorrect bin.

CMs, malfunctions and breakdowns.
When a malfunction is entered with its' start date after the WO creation date, the system changes the breakdown flag as "NO".
Sometimes the customer will report an issue and continue working the machine until we arrive to fix the equipment. Even though they didn't stop right away, We are still taking the machine down within the production schedule because of a problem reported by the customer. This should be considered as a malfunction (Breakdown - Yes) and count against MTTR, MTBF as any other failure.
What I am saying is that a malfuntion start date after the creation date…
6 votesMike Wibben has stated that he still agrees with the previous decision that all malfunctions with a Start Date/Time after the WO creation date/time are not considered breakdowns. This is due to the machine being taken down after the work order was created, which indicates planned downtime, not an unforeseen breakdown.

Inventory control needed
I've contacted Oracle on RTD solutions via a cloud based platform. We are experiencing some issues on management of equipment in house and could use something like this to track parts/equipment and monitor revenue and expense as we look to provide new services to our client. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. I'm in hope that an account with Oracle Nsuites could be beneficial and a solution reapplied across ATS.
