    Hello, We have a opportunitty here in Nuevo Laredo with the Efactory pro 3.0 normally we give support to operations when they have the machine down by a setup or fixture repairs.

    The problem here this type of order is very frequently they are introducing like MRCT because for them the machine really is down but by something that is out of our scoope.

    Once the work order are in the system there are not a option to change to"others", this cause us a rework because to correct this is neccessary cancel and make new order with the correct type.

  2. Visual representation on the status monitor for when a down/reduced asset will be back online

    Visual representation on the status monitor for when a down/reduced asset will be back online - i.e. the ability to add in manually or via EFP3 the return estimate date & time that the asset will be back online. Both ATS & Customer will be able to view this information and plan/communicate accordingly via the live feed reducing the need to send out manual status overview updates.

    The reason why we declined this is for a few reasons.

    1. Just because the asset is down does not mean it is a priority for all customers. A highly critical asset may need to break the daily or weekly schedule, but that may not be the case for a lower critical asset.
    2. In order for us to know when the task may be complete, the job would have to be planned. If the job is a reactive task that is Priority 1 or Priority 2, a planner would not be planning that task. We want the planners focused on Priority 3, 4, and 5 tasks for future schedules.
    3. It is risky to promise a completion time for tasks. Problems regularly come up during reactive jobs that extend the time it tasks to complete. This is why planned maintenance is much safer and efficient that unplanned maintenance.

  3. Tech Portal: Add "Do not substitute" option to 'part need' screen

    We have had several issues with parts being substituted for incorrect parts needed.
    I feel it would benefit all sites if a "do not substitute" box was added the section of the portal when a technician enters a part need.

  5. Receiving parts that already have a bin location for a work order should not default to WORKORDER bin when it is received.

    When a tech requests a part that already has a bin location in the system, say 100179699 which is located in shelf D01G and have non on hand, a req will generate under the work order category specifically for that work order. However, once we receive that part in the system, it will automatically default to the "WORKORDER" bin instead of its original bin which was D01G. Can we change this in the system? We never had this issue in SAP, so if the part was canceled from the work order, it would stay in the original bin. This will…

  6. Supply Chain: Add ability to input additional 'internal notes' to Req/PO after released to Purchasing buyer

    SCS need the ability to add internal notes to Req/POs after req. is released to Purchasing - this would aid in communication and maintain PO historical info. Buyer would need notification of a note being added to the request.

  7. Schedule compliance PBI Metric

    In the schedule compliance metric, the PMs are not considering as planned task until you indicated the start and finish planned, do that implies a lot of time because in a site there are 300 pms per week on average, and i consider its neecesary the pms will be taken by default as planned task in this metric

  8. Get the Kitting function in the client operational. Giving a Kitted part its own part number with the sub components listed below.

    Kitted part has own part number
    Sub Components have individual part numbers
    when kitted part is pulled from inventory all sub component parts are pulled out the system to keep counts correct.

  9. Escalation Notification - Requestor name

    Can the task requestor be included in the email notification for escalations ref down/ reduced tasks entered by the customer. It is beneficial if the technician knows who raised the issue as on a number of occasions those in the cell do not know who raised the ticket; also production might move said operators from cell to another one until a tech arrives and fixes the issue.

  11. I would like to be able to export the schedule board into an excel file.

    With the ability to export to excel , we have the opportunity to communicate the schedule with the team using a spreadsheet and a GANT chart to help visualize there scheduled workday

    There is no option available to assign a technician to a recurring task. Only option is to do it manually every week.

    We are declining due to our Work Execution Management processes.


    We do not plan individual tasks to people. This holds true for PM, PdM, and Corrective Maintenance tasks. Our processes are in place to make our system less people specific and more process dependent.

  13. Need 3 Year PM Frequency in eFP 3.0

    Pressurized vessels need to have safety relief valves replaced every 3 years (per industry standard and state inspector recommendation). We do not have the ability to create 3 year PMs at this time in eFP 3.0. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Thank you.

  16. Status Monitor - Scheduled Work Tracking

    I would like to see when a planned job has a planned start date/time and when that time/date hit, it creates a malfunction automatically on the status monitor showing the planned downtime/job. I would also like to see this as a different color(green), to differentiate it as planned work and not an unscheduled downtime event.

  17. Inventory PO with GNS carriage line

    When receiving a parts/ inventory PO in the UK we have no option from the SCS screen in the client to view from the inventory receiving screen if there is a GNS carriage line to receipt in also. Neither screen provides this hence either the part isn't booked in or the carriage is missed. It would be beneficial if there was a way to view both from each screen to avoid invoice grief issues.

  18. List of problems

    These are the problems with doing p.m.'s in the new system:

    *No Machine locations anymore

    *Under task description the machine's are duplicated with incorrect machine numbers

    *The time it takes to print out a p.m.

    *The p.m.'s for m, q, sa, are all separate p.m.'s and not together like the old sap taking longer times to open and print then close them all,

    Another issue is no e-mail notifications for down machines
