Delete Technicians who no longer are at site
is there a way to take technicians off the live task grid: example there are four names of people who no longer work here.

Sean Stephenson1 voteIn order to preserve task history, we cannot remove the names of technicians who are no longer at the site. Were we to remove their names from the list, all labor stamps and notes submitted by them would no longer be tied to the task. In order to prevent seeing their name on the task grid, reassign the task to a current technician. This will ensure that the filter is only displaying technicians that currently work at the site.

Planned Start time does not export to Excel
Planned Start time does not export to Excel. Need to the time to export with the date.
1 voteThe Planned Time does export along with the Planned Date. If it does not appear in the Excel file, users need to change the column format to display Date/Time information instead of just Date.

Open Part Needs & Parts Used on Work Orders
Trinity Rail East Longview TX needs a report that will show all Part Needs and Parts Used on Work Orders. This will simplify the Supply Chain's job when parts are received that were ordered on Work Orders. Currently they have no way of knowing which PO's belong to which Work Orders. If this report already exists, please let us know the Report name.
1 voteToday the PO lines have the Work Order category and WO/Task ID on them when they are generated. So when they do receipts they can see them. If they are looking for a report for open PO/Reqs that are for Work Orders, that is the OPEN PO report. If the PO has a category of Work Order, they will be able to see the Work Order and Task ID associated to each line.

Supply Chain: Add ability to input additional 'internal notes' to Req/PO after released to Purchasing buyer
SCS need the ability to add internal notes to Req/POs after req. is released to Purchasing - this would aid in communication and maintain PO historical info. Buyer would need notification of a note being added to the request.

Pictures for Work Order generators as an option
i want the option to add a picture to the area needing attention. this would help the work order generator and maintenance tech in this process. also expedite all EHS concerns.

Ability to change compliance start and end dates.
Due to high production demands and only having limited times where the equipment is available which varies from month to month. I don't see why we can't move the compliance windows around as long as they are being completed within the month they are originally due by.

List of problems
These are the problems with doing p.m.'s in the new system:
*No Machine locations anymore
*Under task description the machine's are duplicated with incorrect machine numbers
*The time it takes to print out a p.m.
*The p.m.'s for m, q, sa, are all separate p.m.'s and not together like the old sap taking longer times to open and print then close them all,
Another issue is no e-mail notifications for down machines

Escalation Notification - Requestor name
Can the task requestor be included in the email notification for escalations ref down/ reduced tasks entered by the customer. It is beneficial if the technician knows who raised the issue as on a number of occasions those in the cell do not know who raised the ticket; also production might move said operators from cell to another one until a tech arrives and fixes the issue.

Please add "Lubrication System" as a repair code object. This is needed to track lubrication system issues to identify asset improvement opportunities.

Enable New Part button on initial request screen
Enable the "New Part" button when initially requesting parts. Right now the only button that comes up is "New Service" and you have to start typing in a number before "New Part" comes up. This is leading to increasingly frequent mistakes when entering new part requests.
6 votesThank you for the feedback! This is intended functionality to encourage technicians to look for parts before they attmept to just create a new part. This is intended to prevent ‘new’ requests for parts that already exist within the system. We have just finished designing the new part search and think this will make that feature more transparent as well.

While we understand the importance of knowing the description of the issue causing a malfunction, the task description can’t be added to the Malfunction panel due to column width limitations. To help make it easier to access that information, we implemented Work Order and Task IDs in that panel that directly link to the Work Order/Task records in the Portal. This should allow you to see any of the work order or task information with a single click.

Add all work orders to the status monitor
Add all work orders to the status monitor instead of just the ones with malfunction. This will make it easy to bundle work orders on equipment.

Please correct the Portal column names for "Mfr. Name" & "Mfr. Part #" for ATS Part ID list
Currently the portal has Mfr. Part #s listed in column named "MFG" and the Mfr. names are listed in column titled "MFG PART NUMBER". The column titles should be corrected to match the data per column.
