Proactive BoM building process
Currently the only way BoMs are built is by consuming parts (retroactive approach given a breakdown happened), and manually adding parts from a critical spare analysis, or some similar project, and I think it would be worthwhile to have a proactive process.
I'm picturing something like a button in the parts section where the tech could enter whatever part information he has available and a field to upload a nameplate picture. Then this submission goes to the SCS to review validate and either order for spare, or find/create a part ID and add to the BoM for future ordering purposes.…
7 votesIt is better suited for the new supply chain portal rather than EFP.
Implementing this feature will require additional infrastructure beyond data entry, while we see strong value in this concept, it will not be part of the "Day One" supply chain release. However, we have noted it as a placeholder for future development.

BI Shift Turnover Report
In the shift turnover report, the object / symptom / problem / resolution columns are very beneficial for REs to build out FMEA analysis. These columns' inputs are generated from the repair codes that techs select when completing the tasks, but there is an option for "Other - see comments" that is used when the standard selections do not apply. If we could have the report generate the comments that the techs input into those column fields instead of just listing "Other - see comments", it would save a lot of time having to go back and manually input the…

BOM Updating Manually
Currently in the system is it configured where a technician consumes a part, it is added automatically into the BOM of the equipment asset. I believe this function should be taken off. This often muddies up the BOMs where any small thing that can be consumed on an asset is added, where eventually a BOM can have 100, 200 etc line items. Moreover, when an item is updated and/or retrofitted, it will add that item but also have kept the previous item as well. If another person or technician goes into a BOM and looks for a part (Example motor)…
1 voteThe current configuration was originally designed to ensure asset records don't remain empty, given that manual maintenance across every asset isn't scalable with our current resources, while also preserving cross-site visibility of parts history. Because this touches core operational workflows and historical site practices, any decision to alter this setup or to establish a formal auditing process requires review and alignment with leadership. We will continue to evaluate.

Customer adding attachments to WOs when they make them
I know this has been suggested before and the concern was bad actors would add malicious files. I'm wondering if it would be possible to let the customers add attachments in the screen where they enter new WOs and not just at any point in the process. I know it would be very beneficial to our site for customers to be able to enter pictures of problems.

Task notes formatting
It would be helpful if we can add formatting to task notes like bullet points, separate paragraphs, indentations, etc. The job plans were updated to allow this formatting and it would be nice to have the same in task notes.

Make cycle count consistant.
When running stock count at the end of the month, it should not remove parts from the cycle count and then ding SCS metrics for it. For example, several times I have ran my cycle count last day of the month and not get 100% even though I entered 100% of what was on the list. This is due to the system creating its expected count on the 1st of the month (example 93 parts) but then NOT giving me the full count at the end of the month (ex 89 parts). Then it causes the SCS to have bad…
1 voteWe're currently working on a new supply chain portal that includes the cycle counts functionality. We'll keep this feedback in mind as we continue designing that experience. While we can't make any commitments about specific changes at this time, improving usability and layout are considerations we're taking into account as the new portal is developed.

Food Safety clicker / Adding Attachments
Could we add the possibility of having a 'Food Safety' option, just like there is a 'Safety Option' when entering a WO.
Also, could the customer portal have the option of adding a picture.

Equipment in Work module needs an additional field to identify "At Risk" equipment.
Adding a field for "At Risk" Equipment allows filtering out these assets to support Design for Reliability Process on the Reliability Maturity Pyramid process. This should have functionality to be mass updated with the Master Equipment list load and able to be modified easily by the site Planner/Scheduler Role.

Operator Performed Maintenance sub-type should be available for MCRT type work orders.
Customer has requested all down work orders use sub-types to track responsibility for assets being down. The "Operator Performed Maintenance" sub type cannot be added to a MCRT work order. We need this sub-type to be available to MCRT work orders. Can have changed so it is available on MCRT?
5 votesAfter further review with the site, it seems there is a little confusion on this request.
"Operator error" the Operator causes the problem. "Operator performed maintenance" the Operator fixes the problem. The site is trying to use the sub-types to distinguish between who is responsible for resolving an issue and any extended downtime that occurred.
An example of "operator performed maintenance" 3rd shift operator has a non-maintenance machine issue related to training or experience that prevents running the machine. So, the machine sits idle with a down work order submitted. 1st shift operator arrives and being more experienced is able to fix the issue and begins running the machine.
This functionality will also be useful as our Operator-Performed Maintenance (OPM) program continues to grow within ATS. I am reopening the request to discuss further with our teams.

Determine type of job by work order on the review tab
If we can add type of job performed by work order as for example: Electric, Mechanic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electronic, Lubrication, Coolant. We can determine Downtime & MTTR due to each of these, by plant, area, or technician. With this we can understand development needs by plant, area or technician, so we can set the trainings needed for our people and also track its effectiveness on each specific case
12 votesGreat suggestion! There is projects currently in place to tackle this exact issue. We are redefining the skills and skillsets for technicians, equipment, and for job requirements. These 3 will work together to specify development requirements for technicians and provide us with skillset requirements based on equipment requirements.

Task View
When I scroll down to look for a particular task and find and open the task, I found the task list jumps back to top of the list and then I have to scroll through the list again to find what I was looking for. I suppose if I noted the task number it would not be that big of an issue, but it would be handy if the list just stayed in the position that I stopped. Really a pain when you have multiple Work Orders.
